FreeMeFibro has been created following 8 years of living with ME and (or) CFS, Fibromyalgia and Lupus. I wish to inspire, seek & bring identification, self-awareness and hope to people living with these conditions, their families, friends and practitioners. Throughout this blog I will describe my experience of living in the multifaceted dimension of an autoimmune disease.
An autoimmune disease is a condition when the body’s immune system ‘turns’ on itself and attacks healthy cells, tissues and organs. There are many different autoimmune diseases and ME and (or) CFS, Fibromyalgia and Lupus are a few whose symptoms overlap, are often clustered together and whose causes and cures remain unknown.
